Job summary

Meijer is seeking an entry-level Stocking Clerk to ensure shelves are stocked and ready for customers. You’ll perform retail tasks across product placement, stocking, and merchandising while delivering friendly service and efficient, accurate work.

Qualifications

• Comfortable learning and using basic technology.
• Ability to follow processes in an organized, efficient way.
• Capable of staying calm and productive in a fast-paced environment.
• Enjoy working as part of a team and supporting shared goals.
• Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations efficiently.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back-room areas.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
