Job summary

Meijer is seeking an entry-level Stocking Clerk to ensure shelves are stocked and ready for customers. You will handle food and grocery products, move items from pallets to shelves, and maintain back-room organization with a focus on safety and efficiency.

You’ll work with leadership to complete tasks on schedule, provide friendly customer interactions, and support the store’s daily operations, including overnight preparation for the new day.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products
• Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back-room areas
• Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
