Job summary

Total Wine & More is seeking store team members to support customer service, inventory management, and online operations, with duties across merchandising, sales, front-end, or other tasks as needed.

You will greet customers, build product knowledge through training, stock displays, process freight, and help ensure a safe, compliant store environment, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience, including 1+ year in a retail setting.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maximize product inventory by processing freight, organizing stock, pulling and stocking merchandise, building displays, and supporting digital operations.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting customers and informing them about products and services.
• Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge and stay updated on promotions and loyalty programs.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness standards across the store.
• Ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations related to the sale of alcohol and maintain a safe, compliant store environment.
• Complete cross-functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
• Load and deliver orders safely, following company policies and procedures and abiding by traffic and safety laws if delivery is an essential function.

Job Overview

All Store Team Members play an essential role in building the company brand by delivering excellent customer service. They maximize product inventory and support online business operations, ensuring a positive shopping experience. The position may include merchandising, sales, front‑end, or other responsibilities as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maximize product inventory: process freight, organize and distribute inventory, pull and stock merchandise, build displays and end caps, place signage, and support digital operations by fulfilling orders and assisting with in‑store and curbside pick‑up and delivery services, including driving and making deliveries if assigned.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting customers, building relationships, and informing them about products and services.
• Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge and maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness standards across the store.
• Ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations related to the sale of alcohol and maintain a safe and compliant store environment.
• Complete cross‑functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
• Load and deliver orders safely, following company policies and procedures and abiding by all traffic and safety laws, if delivery is an essential job function.

Physical Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Walk, bend down repeatedly, and be on feet for 8–10 hours a day.
• Safely lift, load, and handle cases and pallets.
• Climb ladders and lift 50 lbs. overhead repeatedly.
• May be exposed to various outdoor weather conditions throughout the workday.

Other Information

Pay range: $14.58–$20.41 per hour. This is a regular position; if the posting indicates seasonal, the role is short‑term, no longer than six months, with the option to apply for a non‑seasonal role.
