Minuteman Food Mart in Shallotte, NC is seeking a reliable Stocker to ensure shelves are stocked and organized to meet customer needs. You will receive, unpack, and stock merchandise, maintain inventory accuracy, and assist customers with locating items in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in retail or stock handling is preferred but not required.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in inventory tasks.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and unpack merchandise deliveries in a timely manner.
• Check inventory against purchase orders and ensure accuracy in quantities and quality.
• Organize and stock shelves, racks, and displays according to planograms and store layout guidelines.
• Rotate products to ensure the oldest stock is placed at the front to maintain freshness.
• Monitor inventory levels and notify management of low stock or potential shortages.
• Assist with periodic inventory counts and contribute to accurate inventory records.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the stockroom, backroom, sales floor areas.
• Ensure proper labeling and pricing of products and update as necessary.
• Assist customers with locating items and provide friendly, helpful customer service.
• Collaborate with the store team to implement promotional displays and maintain an attractive store appearance.
• Adhere to safety and security guidelines, including proper handling of hazardous materials and compliance with health and sanitation regulations.
• Follow company policies and procedures, including those related to cash handling and loss prevention.
