Minuteman Food Mart in Spivey's Corner, NC is hiring a reliable Stocker to keep shelves stocked and organized. You will receive, unpack, and stock merchandise, assist customers, and maintain accurate inventory.

The role requires good organization, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Flexible scheduling including evenings, weekends, and holidays is required; prior retail/stocking experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and unpack merchandise deliveries in a timely manner.
• Check inventory against purchase orders and ensure accuracy in quantities and quality.
• Organize and stock shelves, racks, and displays according to planograms and store layout guidelines.
• Rotate products to ensure the oldest stock is placed at the front to maintain freshness.
• Monitor inventory levels and notify management of low stock or potential shortages.
• Assist with periodic inventory counts and contribute to accurate inventory records.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the stockroom, backroom, sales floor areas.
• Ensure proper labeling and pricing of products and update as necessary.
• Assist customers with locating items and provide friendly, helpful customer service.
• Collaborate with the store team to implement promotional displays and maintain an attractive store appearance.
• Adhere to safety and security guidelines, including proper handling of hazardous materials and compliance with health and sanitation regulations.
• Follow company policies and procedures, including those related to cash handling and loss prevention.
