Job summary

Kirkland’s is seeking a Stock Team Member to support freight flow, backroom organization, and salesfloor replenishment. You’ll help with price changes and merchandise flow, working with urgency in a fast-paced environment.

No experience is required; the role favors energetic, organized individuals who can lift merchandise, work weekends and evenings, and follow company standards and safety rules.

Qualifications

• No experience required, stock experience preferred.
• Energetic, results oriented and competitive with a drive to succeed.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays and evenings.
• Ability to read and interpret company directives, Handbook and Manuals.
• Ability to work a schedule to meet the business needs of the store (often early mornings and off hours).
• Ability to lift and move 45 pounds or more on a regular basis; climb ladders; lift bulky merchandise; stock and retrieve merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the process of the receipt of all merchandise in a safe, timely and efficient manner.
• Assist in maintaining an efficient and organized stockroom.
• Assist in assembling product, executing markdowns and salesfloor replenishment.
• Supports driving profitable sales and protecting company assets.
• Takes personal accountability for individual performance.
• Treat customers with respect and adhere to dress code.
• Maintains commitment to company initiatives and values.
• Take initiative to ensure shipments are processed promptly.
• Report to shift with a positive, can-do attitude.
