Sensitron Semiconductor in Hauppauge, NY is seeking a Stockroom Clerk to support material management and production. The role emphasizes accurate inventory, BOM familiarity, and timely fulfillment of kit requests on the factory floor.

You will use company systems to locate materials, perform counts, and cross-train in receiving, packaging, and shipping while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

Manufacturing on Long Island since 1969, Sensitron brings more than 50 years of experience to high-reliability electronics and is certified to MIL-PRF-38534 Class K, MIL-PRF-19500, and AS9100. The Stockroom Clerk maintains accurate material inventory and supports production by locating, handling, recording, and distributing parts throughout the stockroom and manufacturing floor.

Job Summary

Location: Hauppauge, NY — Onsite
Hours per Week: 40
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am to 3:30pm
Employment Type: FLSA Non-Exempt (Hourly)
Required Experience: 1–3 years of material management/stockroom experience

What You Will Do

• Maintain accurate physical and electronic inventory in the stockroom and on the manufacturing floor.
• Navigate company computer systems to identify the location of materials needed to fulfill kit requests.
• Handle materials, including receiving, repackaging, transacting, counting, and stocking parts in the main stockroom and manufacturing floor teams and cells.
• Operate material-handling equipment as needed.
• Cross-train and fill in as needed in other supply chain functions, including receiving, packaging, and shipping.
• Perform inventory cycle counts.
• Adhere to industry and company quality and safety standards.

Basic Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic Microsoft Excel skills.
• 1–3 years of material management or stockroom experience.
• Familiarity with basic bill of material (BOM) structures.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

This position requires the ability to lift and move parts, products, and boxes weighing up to 50 pounds, bend, sit, and stand.

Our Stockroom Team

The Stockroom Clerk supports manufacturing floor teams and cells by maintaining inventory and fulfilling material requests. The role also supports receiving, packaging, and shipping through cross-training.

Additional Information
