Job summary

Sensitron Semiconductor, located in Hauppauge, NY, is seeking a Stockroom Clerk to maintain accurate inventory and support manufacturing floor operations. This onsite role requires 3–5 years of material management/stockroom experience and basic Excel skills.

Responsibilities include handling materials, BOM familiarity, and cross-training within supply chain functions. The position offers a full-time, hourly schedule with standard benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Basic Microsoft Excel skills are required.
• 3–5 years of material management or stockroom experience is required.
• Familiarity with basic bill of material (BOM) structures is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate physical and electronic inventory in the stockroom and on the manufacturing floor.
• Navigate company computer systems to locate materials for kit requests.
• Handle materials including receiving, repackaging, transacting, counting and stocking.
• Operate material-handling equipment as needed.
• Cross-train and fill in in other supply chain functions (receiving, packaging, shipping).
• Perform inventory cycle counts.
• Adhere to quality and safety standards.
• Train team members as needed.
• Other tasks as assigned.
