Job summary

Dufry is seeking a Retail Stock Hourly Manager for the LAX Retail Warehouse to supervise stock operations during assigned shifts and ensure accurate inventory handling. You will lead stock associates, coordinate receiving, stocking, and cycle counts, and uphold safety and asset protection standards.

Qualifications

• Must have education and experience exceeding 3 years, including supervisory experience in stock or warehouse operations.
• High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree can count toward the 3-year requirement.
• Knowledge of inventory management systems and stock handling procedures.
• Understanding of safety regulations and asset protection in retail/warehouse environments.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Supervises stock associates during shifts to ensure proper receiving, stocking, and inventory procedures.
• Ensures opening/closing procedures and safety protocols are followed; conducts shift inspections.
• Coordinates incoming freight, reports shortages or damages, and maintains documentation.
• Assigns tasks, coaches staff, and ensures proper stocking procedures and standards.
• Manages stock replenishment and oversees returns, damaged goods, and vendor credits.
• Utilizes inventory systems to track stock levels, process orders, and record variances.
• Maintains clean, safe stock areas and reports maintenance needs to management.
• Collaborates with management on performance metrics and operational improvements.
