Job summary

Century Casegoods Plant 1 in Hickory, NC is seeking a Stock Expeditor to pull and distribute stock for the day’s production. You will load stock on trucks using forklifts, unload at designated locations, build skids, and maintain accurate movement of inventory while following safety rules.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED and forklift experience; physical requirements include lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for long periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pulls stock from inventory to meet plant needs for shift.
• Loads the stock on a truck using forklift, hand trucks, etc.
• Distributes/unloads stock to designated locations.
• Builds skids as needed.
• Unboxes/uncrates finished product to add skid to base.
• Keeps stock moved in and out of inventory as directed.
• Observes plant safety rules.
• Keeps work area clean and is quality conscious in performing duties.
• Performs other tasks as assigned by the Supervisor.
