Job summary

Century-Furniture in Hickory, NC is seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate to pull stock from inventory and prepare shipments for the day's production. You will load stock onto trucks with a forklift or hand trucks, distribute items to designated locations, and build skids as needed.

You will unbox/uncrate finished products, manage slab stock as required, and observe all safety rules while keeping the work area clean.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pulls stock from inventory to meet plant needs for shift.
• Loads stock onto trucks using forklift, hand trucks, etc.
• Distributes/unloads stock to designated locations.
• Builds skids as needed.
• Unboxes/uncrates finished products to add skid to base.
• Observes plant safety rules and keeps the work area clean.
