Position Title: Stock Clerk / Replacement Truck Driver / Custodian - Reading High School Central Commissary

Rate of Pay: $23.93 per hour

Classification: Teamsters

Reports To: Food Services Manager or designee

Position Goal: Replaces on an as-needed basis – Food Service Truck Driver / Stock Clerk / Custodian

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Replaces on an as-needed basis for Food Service Truck Driver, Stock Clerk, and Custodian roles.
• Operates all vehicles and equipment related to Food Service.
• Meets delivery schedules.
• Receives, checks in, and verifies orders from purveyors.
• Organizes and rotates stock, fills supply orders, and inventories supplies daily and monthly.
• Requisitions supplies timely and monitors refrigerator/freezer temperatures.
• Performs cleaning duties, including trash removal, washing garbage chutes, and assisting as needed.
• Supports Food Service Truck Drivers and performs other duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles and operate forklifts.
• Valid Pennsylvania Operator’s License.
• Ability to read, interpret documents, and communicate effectively.
• Physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work in various environmental conditions.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Work involves exposure to outdoor elements, noise, chemicals, and potentially dangerous materials. Safety precautions and protective gear are required. The environment may be hot, cold, humid, or dusty, and work may require overtime to meet deadlines.
