What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

  1. Research utility termination warnings, potential missing bills, and late fees by reviewing payment history and account status
  2. Contact utility vendors to verify balances due and negotiate payment arrangements to avoid service shut off
  3. Prepare written correspondence to vendors and request replacement bills as necessary
  4. Operate termination research databases and organize daily work to prioritize critical tasks
  5. Answer vendor hotline and assist with inquiries in a timely manner

What is Required (Qualifications):

  1. High school diploma or equivalent required
  2. Minimum of 6 months of previous telephone experience in customer service or collections
  3. Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  4. Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
  5. Proficient in basic functions of the Microsoft Office suite
