Job summary

Johnson Service Group, Inc. is seeking a stockroom associate in Gainesville, TX to receive and issue parts, organize materials in bins, and move items to production areas as needed.

Responsibilities include labeling and documenting inventory, initiating shortage notices at minimum levels, and adhering to safety rules while wearing required PPE. A High School diploma or equivalent is required, with 1–3 years of related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, diagrams, tolerance information, route sheets, work orders and manuals.
• Strong basic math skills including operations with fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions.

Job description

Must have good computer knowledge Must be able to perform other duties as required Employee is expected to follow all safety regulations, keep work area in a clean and orderly condition, and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required for the assigned work area(s). Performs safety related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS High School diploma or equivalent required. One to three years of related experience required – equivalent education and background may be substituted for experience in some areas. Requires a thorough understanding of shop practices and procedures. Must be able to read and interpret average to complex blueprints, drawings, diagrams, tolerance information, route sheets, work orders, safety guidelines, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals and apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
