Job summary

The Museum of Modern Art in New York is seeking three temporary Stock Associates for the Soho Design Store. Reporting to the Associate Store Manager, Operations, you will help maintain the stockroom and support replenishment on the sales floor, ensuring efficient handling of receipts and deliveries.

Responsibilities include unloading shipments, receiving merchandise, processing store sends, preparing items for display, replenishing fixtures, and keeping the stockroom organized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year in a retail stockroom/shipping capacity.
• Strong verbal, organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to perform physical tasks as needed.
• Proficiency with POS, Order Entry and Inventory Management a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the unloading of all shipments and deliveries.
• Receives all merchandise.
• Processes store sends.
• Prepares product to be fixture ready (ticket, shrink wrap, etc.).
• Replenishes store fixtures.
• Maintains an efficient and organized stockroom.
• Assists in annual physical and mini inventories.
• Performs other duties reasonably related to the functions described above.
