Job summary

Russell's Technical Products Inc. in Holland, MI, is hiring a Stock Assembler to perform work-station assembly of environmental test chambers. You will read, comprehend and follow Department Work Instructions and assemble stock assemblies and chambers with hand and power tools.

Required skills include reading blueprints/schematics, using basic measuring devices, applying RTV silicones and cleaners, and performing basic wiring, brazing or soldering. This is a 1st shift, hourly position.

Description

The Stock Assembler performs work-station assembly operations to produce components or to assemble those components into a completed environmental test chamber by performing the following duties:

1. Read, comprehend and follow Department Work Instructions.
2. Properly assemble Stock Assemblies and/or chambers, which may include:

• Any assembly-type functions, using hand and power tools.
• Read/use standard measuring devices.
• Use RTV silicones and similar adhesive/sealants
• Use cleaning chemicals such as dish soap and aerosol degreasers
• Perform basic wiring connections and techniques.
• Braze/solder copper, brass or other similar materials

Helpful Skills and Knowledge:

• Basic math and measuring skills
• Ability to read (or willingness to learn to read) blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
• Experience using basic hand and power tools
• High school diploma or GED
• Experience with Brazing and/or soldering

1st shift position.

Salary: $20.00 to $23.00 / hr
