Job summary

Episcopal Retirement Services is seeking a STNA / Versatile Worker to provide direct resident care in a Cincinnati household. You will assist with grooming, mobility, dining, and daily care while supporting life enrichment and safety.

Training may be provided for Ohio Nurse Aide Registry holders. Responsibilities include coordinating activities, assisting with outings, and maintaining a clean, safe environment, with an emphasis on compassionate interaction with ill and elderly residents.

Qualifications

• Must be Ohio State tested nurse aide active on the registry (training available).
• Able to assist residents and move equipment up to 50 lbs regularly and 100 lbs occasionally.
• Able to relate to ill, disabled, elderly residents and stay calm in emotional situations.
• Must read, write and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Attend to resident personal care needs including grooming, hygiene, mobility and dining.
• Provide resident care, life enrichment, dining support and laundry assistance.
• Monitor skin care, report changes to the household nurse.
• Respond promptly to call lights and alarms.
• Organize activities and coordinate with household team members.
• Maintain clean, safe living environment and assist with outings and programs.
