Job summary

Episcopal Retirement Services in Cincinnati, OH, is seeking a STNA/Versatile Worker for the Marjorie P. Lee household on a part-time shift from 7a to 3p. You will provide direct resident care, support daily living activities, and help maintain a warm, caring environment.

Ideal candidates hold Ohio nurse aide certification (or be willing to train), can lift up to 50 lbs regularly, and communicate effectively in English. The role offers a rewarding culture and opportunities for growth within ERS.

Qualifications

• Must be Ohio State tested nurse aide and listed as active on the Ohio Nurse Aide Registry (ERS may be willing to provide training).
• Able to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis and 100 lbs occasionally.
• Capable of relating to and working with ill, elderly residents in emotionally charged situations.
• Fluent reading, writing and speaking English.
• Able to sit, stoop, bend and move continuously throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Attends to all resident personal care needs, including grooming, hygiene, dining and mobility support.
• Provides resident care, life enrichment, laundry assistance, dining support.
• Observes skin and prevents breakdown; reports changes to the household nurse.
• Responds to resident requests and call lights in a timely manner.
• Plans, develops, implements and evaluates activity/recreation programs.
• Coordinates services with household team members; communicates concerns to supervisors.
