White Oak Healthcare in Warren, Ohio, is seeking an STNA State Tested Nursing Assistant to join our Day shift team. You will assist nursing staff in delivering compassionate patient care and support daily living activities.

Responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, helping with mobility and transfers, documenting care, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to implement individualized care plans. New graduates welcome; Ohio STNA certification required.

Qualifications

• STNA certification in the state of Ohio is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with vital signs monitoring (temperature, BP, pulse, SpO2).
• Aid in transferring patients using proper body mechanics.
• Assist with mobility and ambulation including transfers and positioning.
• Help with daily living activities (bathing, grooming, toileting).
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
• Document patient information and care activities per facility policies.

STNA State Tested Nursing Assistant

As an STNA, you will play a vital role in our team's efforts to deliver high-quality patient care and support. Your primary responsibility will be to assist our nursing staff in providing personalized care to our patients, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, participate in vital signs monitoring, mobility, and other daily living activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with vital signs monitoring, including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and oxygen saturation
• Aid in transferring patients, using proper body mechanics and equipment as needed
• Assist with mobility and ambulation, including transfers and positioning patients safely
• Participate in daily living activities, such as bathing, grooming, and toileting
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Document patient information and care activities in accordance with facility policies and procedures

Requirements
