We are looking to hire licensed STNAs to care for our residents with reliable transportation, punctual with attendance.
The nursing assistant (STNA) is responsible for providing direct care to residents, assisting the clinical team in providing activities of daily living for the residents and works under the supervision of a licensed nurse. This person works in accordance with facility policies and procedures and report resident needs to concerns to a licensed nurse.
Education and Experience: Ability to obtain and maintain State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) Certification required. High School Diploma/GED preferred. 1 year of Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or STNA preferred. Ability to read/write/comprehend the English language in written & verbal form required. Ability to communicated both verbally and non-verbally required.
Valid STNA certification to work within a long term care facility within the State of Ohio. Dependable transportation required. CPR certification preferred.
Responsible for promoting independence and assisting all residents with their ADL’s.
Basic personal computer skills including electronic mail and basic internet usage.

Works regularly with some information such as medical records or reports and records that are restricted to specific persons. Must comply with confidentiality policy.
May be exposed to heat and cold in all weather conditions. Works regularly under desirable conditions with little or no disagreeable features. Distractions are frequent.
Category 1 Tasks that involve exposure to blood, body fluids, tissues
Category 2 Tasks that involve NO exposure to blood, body fluids, tissues, but employment may require unplanned Category 1 tasks
Category 3 Tasks that involve NO exposure to blood, body fluids, tissues; would not be required to perform Category 1 task
Primarily engages with adults and the elderly. Knowledge of the physical, social emotional, and intellectual needs of adults and the elderly will be helpful. This includes being able to detect abuse with regard to state regulations. Follows policy for reporting abuse.
