Qualifications

• Active Ohio State tested nurse aide certification.
• Ability to lift, push, pull or move 50 lbs regularly and 100 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to relate to and work effectively with the aging population, implementing people-centered care.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
• Physical ability to fulfill the ongoing functions of the position.
• Maintain attendance per policy.
• Demonstrate harmonious interaction with all peoples.
• Knowledge of age-specific interventions.

Responsibilities

• STNA provides People Centered care to residents including grooming, bathing, feeding, activities, and other care tasks.
• STNA answers call lights, verbally or in person within 60 seconds.
• STNA maintains residents' functional abilities using prescribed restorative devices and programs.
• STNA keeps living areas clean, safe, and inviting by maintaining rooms, dining areas, halls and common spaces free of clutter.
• STNA follows infection control policies and OSHA guidelines for handling potentially infectious materials.
• STNA reads, understands, implements, and evaluates the resident's current Plan of Care.

Minimum Qualifications:
