Do you have what it takes to become a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) at Lake Pointe Health Center?

Qualifications & Experience Requirements:

• High school graduate or G.E.D. equivalent
• Graduate of an approved Nurse Aide Training Program
• Experience involving independent decision-making is a plus
• Prior experience in healthcare is desirable

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

As an STNA, you will:

• Participate in and receive resident reports at start/end of shift
• Provide personal and nursing care according to the resident care plan
• Facilitate and conduct activities
• Respond to resident requests and needs respectfully and with dignity
• Maintain a clean and pleasant environment for residents
• Assist in preparing residents for activities inside and outside the center
• Ensure all care is provided respectfully and with dignity
• Perform basic nursing procedures as required
• Create a safe, comfortable environment and meet residents' needs
• Meet residents' food service needs promptly and compassionately
• Maintain documentation of activities of daily living and other resident-specific records
• Adhere to departmental, center, and corporate policies, quality improvement, safety, and infection control standards
• Attend training, educational classes, and orientation to maintain certification and improve care quality
• Perform other related activities as requested
