Job summary

North Park Care Community in Brook Park, Ohio is hiring a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) to join our compassionate care team. We offer full-time, part-time, and per diem positions, with opportunities for growth, supportive leadership, and a culture of respect.

You will provide direct nursing care, assist residents with daily living activities, monitor conditions, and participate in staff development.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered STNA license for Ohio.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Proven teamwork and collaboration across nursing staff.
• Ability to make independent decisions when required.
• Knowledge of nursing practices and regulations affecting SNFs.
• Willingness to supervise other staff and uphold policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Assist residents with daily living activities, such as toileting, incontinence care, and mobility
• Monitor residents' conditions and report changes to the nursing team
• Supervise and educate STNAs and other facility personnel on policies and procedures
• Participate in staff development activities, including in-service training and orientation
• Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to safety and sanitation protocols
• Ensure equipment and supplies are properly maintained and used
• Care Plan and Assessment: Review care plans daily and inform Nurse Supervisor of changes
