Job summary

Dublin Post Acute in Dublin, OH is hiring State Tested Nursing Assistants (STNAs) to provide direct resident care under supervision, assisting with daily living activities and promoting comfort and dignity.

Shifts run 7:00 am to 7:00 pm on a full-time rotating weekend schedule. The role emphasizes teamwork with licensed staff and therapists to support rehabilitation and long-term care goals.

A $1,500 sign-on bonus is offered for full-time STNAs, along with competitive wages and benefits.

Qualifications

• Current Ohio State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification required.
• Current CPR certification preferred.
• Previous skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term care, or healthcare experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to provide compassionate, resident-centered care.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, ambulation, and positioning of residents.
• Monitor and report changes in residents' physical, emotional, and mental conditions to nursing staff.
• Take and record vital signs, weights, and intake/output as directed.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.
• Answer residents call lights promptly and courteously.
• Assist with meal service and resident hydration.
• Provide compassionate emotional support and companionship.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
• Follow infection control, safety, and resident rights policies and procedures.
• Work collaboratively with nurses, therapists, physicians, and other healthcare team members.
