Job summary

Sunrise Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) for the dayshift 7a–7p. This role can be full-time or part-time and offers a welcoming, supportive environment where you can contribute to residents' comfort and quality of life.

You will assist with daily care, maintain resident dignity, and follow policies while working with a compassionate team. Certification required; strong communication and documentation skills are needed.

Qualifications

• STNA certification required.
• Good documentation, communication, and interpersonal skills; must be able to use proper lift technique and lift equipment to move, lift and transfer residents.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor towards residents, visitors, families, and co-workers.
• Assist in daily care of residents such as bathing, grooming, dressing, transferring, repositioning, and other activities of daily living.
• Promote and protect resident rights, treat residents with dignity and respect, protect resident’s personal belongings, report suspected abuse or neglect.
• Adhere to all policies and procedure of Sunrise Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
