Job summary

Sunrise Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) for a full-time or part-time dayshift role (7a–7p). Join a caring team to assist residents with daily living activities and promote rights and dignity. Opportunities for growth in a supportive setting.

The role emphasizes compassionate care, proper lift techniques, documentation, and collaboration with fellow staff to ensure resident safety and well-being.

Qualifications

• Certification: STNA certification required.
• Experience: good documentation, communication, and interpersonal skills; must be able to use proper lift technique and lift equipment to move, lift and transfer residents.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor towards residents, visitors, families, and co-workers.
• Assist in daily care of residents such as bathing, grooming, dressing, transferring, repositioning, and other activities of daily living.
• Promote and protect resident rights, treat residents with dignity and respect, protect resident's personal belongings, report suspected abuse or neglect.
• Adhere to all policies and procedure of Sunrise Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
