Job summary

Recover-Care Healthcare in Dayton, OH is seeking an STNA to provide routine nursing care under supervision. The STNA will assist residents with hygiene, transportation to activities, and ensure infection control and safety procedures are followed. Must hold a State Tested Nurse Assistant certification and communicate in English.

Candidates with experience in tracheostomy and ventilator care are preferred. This role requires professional presentation, compassion, and ability to respond to

Qualifications

• Must have STNA certification.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Tracheostomy and ventilator care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare residents for therapy, activities, physician visits, religious services, etc., including transportation.
• Answer residents’ call lights promptly.
• Attend in-service educational programs and meetings as directed.
• Assist residents with proper hygiene.
• Bathe residents as assigned and encourage self-care.
• Follow infection control procedures as required.
• Chart required information every shift pertaining to the STNA role.
• Present a professional image to residents and families.
• Adhere to Company Standards for resolving consumer concerns.
• Ensure that all resident rights are protected.
