Recover-Care Healthcare in Dayton, OH seeks a certified STNA to provide routine nursing care under supervision, ensuring residents receive high-quality support across therapy, visits, and daily activities.

The ideal candidate will have STNA certification, strong communication in English, and a compassionate, professional demeanor. Experience with tracheostomy or ventilator care is a plus, with responsibilities including hygiene support, documentation, and adherence to infection control policies.

Qualifications

• Must have certification as a STNA.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm.
• Tracheostomy care, ventilator care experienced preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare residents for therapy, activities, physician visits and services.
• Respond promptly to call lights and resident needs.
• Attend in-service training and meetings as directed.
• Assist residents with hygiene and self-care.
• Bathe residents according to policy and encourage self-care.
• Follow infection control procedures and isolation guidelines as needed.
• Document required information each shift.
• Maintain professional appearance and conduct.
• Protect resident rights and resolve concerns.
