Job summary

Southwest General Home Health seeks a compassionate Home Health Aide to work under a nurse’s supervision, helping patients feel safe, comfortable, and supported in their homes.

You will assist with daily activities, support mobility and prescribed exercises, observe changes, and document visits within 24 hours. This full‑time role requires a STNA/CNA credential and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• STNA/CNA credential or completion of a 75‑hour nurse aide training program.
• One year of verifiable nurse aide experience under an RN’s direct supervision.
• Score 80% or higher on the skills competency test.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance listing you as a driver.
• Ability to safely perform hands‑on care, including lifting, transferring, and bathing.
• A caring attitude, strong communication skills, and dependable attendance.
• Must complete required training, including 12 hours of annual in‑services.

Responsibilities
