Job summary

Portsmouth Health and Rehab in Portsmouth, Ohio is seeking a dedicated State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) / Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to deliver high-quality care to residents. You will support daily living activities, assist with mobility, and participate in care planning with a compassionate team.

The role requires current STNA/CNA certification, a high school diploma or equivalent, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Current STNA/CNA certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Ability to lift, transfer, and move residents with assistance.
• Ability to work varying shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support to residents as needed.
• Assist with daily living activities: bathing, dressing, grooming.
• Help with mobility and transferring residents.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
• Assist with mealtime and nutrition, including feeding and hydration.
• Participate in resident care conferences and contribute to care plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of resident care and activities.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
