Job summary

Rosemount Care Center in Portsmouth, OH is seeking a caring State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) to provide resident support on the night shift. Under supervision of a licensed nurse, you will assist with daily living activities, monitor comfort, and document care in the EHR.

This full-time role emphasizes safety, dignity, and teamwork with nursing staff, therapists, and other caregivers. High school diploma and active STNA certification required; prior long-term care experience is welcome but

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Current and active State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification.
Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and oral hygiene.
Assist with mobility: turning, positioning, transferring, and ambulation using devices as needed.
Feed residents and monitor nutrition/hydration; document intake.
Measure/record vital signs and report changes to nursing staff.
Document care provided and residents' responses in EHR or charts; maintain accurate records.
