Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur is a faith-based long-term care residence in Cincinnati dedicated to compassionate, high-quality care for our Sisters. We seek a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) to provide person-centered support in a five-star facility with low Sister-to-staff ratios.

The role is part-time (8 hours/week, weekend shift). Candidates must hold an STNA certification, bring healthcare experience, and demonstrate excellent communication and compassion while working as part of a

Qualifications

• Must have valid State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification.
• Experience in a healthcare setting beneficial.
• Long-term care experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, patient and respectful attitude.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Assist Sisters with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
• Monitor and record vital signs and intake/output; report changes to nursing staff.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to Sisters.
• Assist with feeding and hydration; transport Sisters to appointments and activities.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
• Support nursing staff with clinical tasks and documentation.
• Follow care plans to ensure Sisters comfort and safety at all times.
• Chart in PointClickCare (PCC).

We are seeking compassionate and reliable State Tested Nursing Assistants (STNA) to join our healthcare team in our 80-bed, five-star facility. In this role, you will provide personalized, high-quality care while building meaningful relationships with our Sisters and ensuring they feel valued, supported, and comfortable each day. Our team benefits from lower Sister-to-staff ratios, allowing caregivers the time to provide attentive and relationship-centered care.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist Sisters with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility

• Considered an essential worker so have to report to work during severe weather
