Job summary

Cherish-Hospice is seeking an on-the-road STNA Hospice Aide to enhance patient quality of life by delivering personal care directly to hospice patients. Travel is required up to 50% to patients’ residences, facilities, or hospitals, with an STNA license and driver’s license as prerequisites.

Responsibilities include following an established care plan under RN supervision, documenting patient responses, and ensuring compliance with policies and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Geriatrics experience preferred
• Hospice and Palliative Medicine preferred

Cherish-Hospiceis seeking an on the roadSTNA Hospice Aide’s. As a hospice aide you can help enhance the quality of life for the patient by providing personal care and related assigned services to hospice patients directly.

STNA Hospice Aide Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care according to the patient’s needs. Carry out the duties assigned to increase the patient’s level of comfort, and to maintain personal hygiene and a safe environment for the patient.

• Care provided is in accordance with an established plan of care and under the supervision of a RN

• Observe the patient, report observations and document observations and care performed.

• Document the care provided and the patient’s response to care in accordance with policies and procedures and regulatory standards.

• Provide timely documentation of patient services based on plan of care.

• Adhere to Company policies and procedures and regulatory compliance requirements and directives.

STNA Hospice Aide Requirements include but are not limited to:

• Travel as necessary (up to 50% of the time) to service patients in their residence of care, which includes home, assisted living facilities, long term care facility, and hospital.

• STNA License (Required)
