Job summary

Cherish Hospice in Canton, OH is seeking a PRN STNA Hospice Aide to support patient comfort and quality of life on the road.

As a Hospice Aide you will provide personal care, assist with daily activities, and document observations under RN supervision. Travel up to 50% to home, assisted living, and long-term care settings.

Candidates must hold an STNA license and a valid driver’s license; hospice or geriatrics experience is preferred.

Cherish Hospice is seeking an on the road PRN STNA Hospice Aide in the Canton Area. As a hospice aide you can help enhance the quality of life for the patient by providing personal care and related assigned services to hospice patients directly.

STNA Hospice AideResponsibilities:

• Provide personal care according to the patient’s needs. Carry out the duties assigned to increase the patient’s level of comfort, and to maintain personal hygiene and a safe environment for the patient.

• Care provided is in accordance with an established plan of care and under the supervision of a RN

• Observe the patient, report observations and document observations and care performed.

• Document the care provided and the patient’s response to care in accordance with policies and procedures and regulatory standards.

• Provide timely documentation of patient services based on plan of care.

• Adhere to Company policies and procedures and regulatory compliance requirements and directives.

STNA Hospice AideRequirements include but are not limited to:

• Travel as necessary (up to 50% of the time) to service patients in their residence of care, which includes home, assisted living facilities, long term care facility, and hospital.

• STNA License (Required)
