Job description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Designer/Stitcher to join our dynamic design department. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the entire product lifecycle, from initial concept to final production, requiring a strong understanding of the product development process and excellent collaboration skills. The Designer/Stitcher will provide leadership and support within the design team to ensure alignment with company initiatives and goals.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop concept sketches and translate them into solid models.
  • Stitch new designs and products from start to finish.
  • Coordinate the aesthetic and functional aspects of product lines.
  • Support the development and execution of product design strategies.
  • Develop and continuously improve design processes.
  • Present and explain design direction to stitchers on the production floor, as needed.
  • Communicate and collaborate with suppliers to develop product specifications, designs, and cost-saving projects.
