Join to apply for the Stirrups Cook I - Full Time role at Columbus Hospitality Management.

The World Equestrian Center Ocala Resort is seeking a Cook I to join our team. This senior-level role involves overseeing station and kitchen operations, working across all stations, demonstrating advanced culinary skills, and supporting staff training to ensure high standards of food quality and safety.

Responsibilities
  1. Oversee preparation and cooking of diverse food items.
  2. Assist in menu development, including daily specials.
  3. Ensure consistent food quality, taste, and presentation.
  4. Train, mentor, and supervise Cook III and II staff, along with other kitchen team members.
  5. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and efficiency in kitchen and storage areas.
  6. Enforce health and safety regulations.
  7. Manage inventory and stock rotation.
  8. Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house staff for smooth operations.
  9. Participate in cleaning and dishwashing duties as needed.

Physical Requirements
  • Lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs.
