Gillman Home Center in Indiana is seeking a rental equipment service technician to inspect, clean, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on a variety of rental gear. You will engage with customers at the counter, assist with rental transactions, and deliver and pick up equipment as needed.

Ideal candidates have strong mechanical skills, a valid driver's license, and Stihl certification (we can help you obtain this).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Mechanical expertise is a must for this position.
• Valid driver’s license; For-Hire Endorsement not required but preferred.
• Stihl Certification – we can help you obtain this certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to customers.
• Inspect, clean, repair, and perform maintenance on rental equipment.
• Demonstrate proper equipment usage and loading/unloading techniques.
• Check out customers at the rental counter and process transactions.
• Deliver and pick up rental equipment as needed.
• Maintain service records and safety compliance.
