Job summary

Downtown Ace Hardware – Fort Collins, CO is seeking a detail-oriented STIHL Power Equipment Associate to educate customers on STIHL power tools and maintenance. The role requires strong mechanical understanding and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly in a fast-paced retail setting.

Responsibilities include completing STIHL brand training, building product knowledge, troubleshooting equipment questions, and coordinating service or warranty discussions.

Responsibilities

• Complete and maintain STIHL brand training.
• Develop deep product knowledge across chainsaws, trimmers, blowers, and other outdoor power equipment.
• Educate customers on features, safety, proper usage and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot equipment questions and guide customers toward solutions.
• Maintain accurate inventory and ensure equipment is properly assembled and merchandised.
• Support warranty conversations and service coordination.
• Assist with other outdoor power equipment brands and training.
• Help support Lawn & Garden and other departments as needed.
• Demonstrate precision, follow-through and attention to detail.
