Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of three (3) years or greater of relevant experience.
• Strong customer service orientation and the ability to communicate effectively with varied groups.
• High-level project management experience; capable of managing competing priorities and multiple deadlines, and seeing projects through from beginning to end.
• Demonstrate a high degree of sensitivity in dealing with confidential donor information.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Administers the acknowledgment process for university and division leadership, coordinating logistics to ensure the timely delivery of accurate, personalized messages of gratitude.
• Leads stewardship strategies for select leadership giving donors, participating in donor strategy sessions and directing action steps, including opportunities for personalized engagement, meaningful recognition and impact reporting.
• Advises on the planning of annual stewardship priorities across respective areas, guiding the development of special projects and key initiatives.
• Advances the stewardship planning and implementation of other universitywide events and initiatives, including campaign stewardship, Pack Appreciation Day, Day of Giving and others as needed.
• Plans and deploys special-day donor communications (e.g., birthdays, holidays).
• Serves as the liaison with Donor Services regarding endowment reports for select donors and universitywide funds.
• Provides timely updates to donor records including documentation of stewardship-related activities and constituent biographical information.
• Follows emerging trends and best practices in stewardship and donor relations strategy.
