Job summary

Fairmont Dallas, part of Accor, is seeking a Stewarding Supervisor to uphold cleaning standards and supervise staff across kitchen support areas. You will monitor equipment use, ensure sanitation, and maintain guest satisfaction through proactive service.

The role requires supervisory experience, strong cleaning knowledge, and effective English communication. The successful candidate will operate within a team-focused hotel environment in Dallas, Texas.

Qualifications

• 2 years experience in a food service janitorial position.
• Previous supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, requirements and use of equipment/machinery.
• Knowledge of proper chemical handling.
• High school graduate or equivalent vocational training certificate.
• Ability to communicate in English, both verbal and non-verbal.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies/service procedures/standards.
• Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment.
• Anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day.
• Maintain positive guest relations at all times.
• Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas.
• Ensure that assigned staff has reported to work; document any late or absent employees.
• Coordinate breaks for assigned staff.
• Constantly monitor staff performance in all phases of service and job functions; rectify any deficiencies with respective personnel.
