Job summary

Thompson Dallas is seeking a Stewarding Supervisor to oversee daily stewarding operations across all kitchens and outlets. You will provide hands-on supervision to the team, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, organization, and safety in back-of-house areas.

You will collaborate closely with Culinary and F&B leadership to maintain efficient operations, train staff, and support during peak periods and events, while modeling Hyatt values and service standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in stewarding, kitchen sanitation, or dishwashing in hotel or high-volume settings.
• Supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Knowledge of sanitation standards and food safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, and support the stewarding team across all kitchens and outlets.
• Oversee daily dishwashing and sanitation, ensuring timely cleaning of equipment and service items.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in back‑of‑house areas and storage spaces.
• Assist with scheduling, onboarding, training, and staff development.
• Ensure compliance with Hyatt standards, health, sanitation, safety, and security regulations.
• Manage waste handling, chemical storage, and cleaning supplies.
• Monitor inventory and communicate needs to the Executive Chef.
• Support during high‑volume service and events, including deep cleaning projects.
