Job summary

InterContinental Hotels Group is seeking an entry-level Steward Manager for Crowne Plaza Guam in Tamuning, Guam. The role oversees stewarding staff training, productivity and performance, ensuring safety and health compliance. It involves inventory control, equipment maintenance, and supporting recruitment efforts.

You’ll conduct formal training, manage records, and assist in setting up banquet functions and events, with a focus on quality service and teamwork across departments.

Qualifications

• Communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
• Reading labels and operating instructions.
• Basic math to mix chemical solutions.
• Must obtain government-issued Food Handler’s Certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversee training, productivity and performance of stewarding staff while ensuring health and safety standards.
• Maintain inventory and equipment; manage records and support recruitment efforts.
• Lead formal training sessions and SOP adherence; delegate tasks and monitor preventive maintenance.
• Manage kitchen and stewarding operations, including setup for events and banquet functions.
