Job summary

Loews Hotels & Co in Tucson, AZ is seeking a hands-on Stewarding Supervisor to lead the stewarding team, ensure cleanliness, organization, and safety across back-of-house areas, and support culinary and F&B operations.

You will oversee dishwashing operations, manage inventories, uphold sanitation standards, collaborate with banquet and culinary teams for events, and help maintain a spotless, compliant kitchen environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2–3 years of experience in a mid-volume stewarding operation within an upscale hotel or restaurant preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong time-management and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise the stewarding team, assigning tasks and covering shifts.
  • Oversee dishwashing operations and maintain cleanliness of dishes, glassware, and equipment.
  • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, chemicals, and equipment; ensure proper storage and safety.
  • Enforce safety procedures and sanitation standards to prevent accidents and contamination.
  • Collaborate with banquet, culinary, and outlet teams to ensure equipment and supplies are available for events.
  • Attend Banquet Event Order (BEO) meetings and support event setups and breakdowns.
  • Steward day-to-day floor operations in absence of senior steward and ensure team training and coaching.

In this role, you'll oversee dishwashing operations, manage equipment and supply inventories, and maintain compliance with sanitation and safety regulations.
