Job summary

Camelback Resort is seeking a Steward Supervisor to lead the stewarding team and uphold high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas. You will supervise dishwashing operations, coach staff on safety and chemical handling, and ensure proper scheduling to cover all shifts.

This role requires physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility for weekends/holidays is required, with competitive wages and opportunities for growth within the Food &

Job Title: Stewarding Supervisor

Department: Food & Beverage

Reports to: Executive Chef

As a Steward Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of both the kitchen and dining areas. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the stewarding team, maintaining cleanliness, ensuring the proper handling of kitchen equipment and tableware, and upholding high standards for the use of cleaning chemicals and dish areas.

• Must be flexible to work hours determined by business levels and needs of the Food & Beverage outlets. This may include weekends and early morning, or late evening work and holidays.

• Must be able to speak and read the English language, additional languages a plus.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8-10 hours per shift).
• Frequent bending, stooping, and reaching to load/unload dish racks and clean work areas.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. (e.g., dish racks, cleaning supplies, or garbage).
• Ability to work in hot, humid, and sometimes noisy environments.
• Ability to work safely with cleaning chemicals and follow proper sanitation standards.
• Tolerance for repetitive tasks such as scrubbing, rinsing, or polishing dishes and kitchenware.
• Ability to move quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
