Job summary

Camelback Resort is hiring a Dishwasher/Steward to support our Food & Beverage team. You will set up dish stations, load and unload dishes, and maintain a clean work area while following safety and sanitation standards.

We welcome applicants age 16 or older who are eager to learn, communicate well with teammates, and adapt to a fast-paced environment. Hours may include weekends, mornings, or evenings depending on business needs.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Willingness to learn and grow in the role.
• Ability to communicate effectively with the team.
• Must be able to speak/read English.
• Able to stand 8–10 hours and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up dish stations and operate dishwashing machines.
• Load and unload dishes and maintain a clean workspace.
• Assist with general kitchen duties as needed.
• Follow safety and sanitation standards.

Our dishwashing team is the hardworking backbone of kitchen and service operations, responsible for maintaining, cleaning, and washing all dining utensils throughout the outlets.

• Must be flexible to work hours determined by business levels and needs of the Food & Beverage outlets. This may include weekends and early morning, or late evening work and holidays.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of our guests.
• Must be able to speak and read the English language, additional languages a plus.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8-10 hours per shift).
• Frequent bending, stooping, and reaching to load/unload dish racks and clean work areas.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. (e.g., dish racks, cleaning supplies, or garbage).
• Ability to work in hot, humid, and sometimes noisy environments.
• Ability to work safely with cleaning chemicals and follow proper sanitation standards.
• Tolerance for repetitive tasks such as scrubbing, rinsing, or polishing dishes and kitchenware.
• Ability to move quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
