Job summary

Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort and Spa in Austin, Bastrop TX is seeking a Stewarding Supervisor to lead a team responsible for banquet back‑up, china, silverware, glassware and other service vessels. The role includes stocking, dishwashing, and maintaining cleanliness in kitchen and Food & Beverage areas.

The ideal candidate will have supervisory experience, a customer‑focused mindset and the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• A presence with strong guest service in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to stand for long periods during shifts.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience in a culinary operation or stewarding environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Steward Colleagues handling banquet support, supplying china, silverware and glassware; ensure cleanliness of kitchen and F&B areas.

The Stewarding Supervisor is primarily responsible for assisting to supervise a team of Steward Colleagues who are responsible for banquet back up, supplying china, silverware, glassware and other food/beverage vessels; stocking and pushing hot boxes; dishwashing from all kitchen areas and overall cleanliness of Kitchen and Food & Beverage areas of the hotel.

Qualifications

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Flexible schedule preferred, ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred
• Prior experience in a Culinary operation or stewarding position
