Job summary

Hyatt Regency New Orleans is seeking a Steward Lead to join our Stewarding team. You will coordinate the cleaning and care of hotel china, silverware and cookware and ensure timely delivery of dining essentials to event spaces.

In this role you must communicate effectively, handle banquet contracts, and be able to lift and move heavy items. Flexibility with shifts, including weekends and holidays, is required.

Join us for this incredible opportunity to be part of our Stewarding team as the Steward Lead at the Hyatt Regency New Orleans. The Lead Steward is primarily responsible for assisting to coordinate and maintain the cleanliness of all hotel china, silverware and cookware. This individual is also responsible for running food, china, and silverware to function space, ensuring proper food and equipment in a timely and accurate manner for events. This person must have good communication skills and the ability to understand and complete banquet contracts. This person needs to have the ability to lift, push and pull a moderate amount of weight.
