Job summary

Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Spa in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Stewarding Supervisor to coordinate and maintain cleanliness and inventory of hotel china, silverware, and cookware. You will liaise with Culinary and F&B, manage stewarding events, and lead a team to ensure operational excellence across back‑of‑house areas.

Responsibilities include scheduling, payroll edits, and using HotSOS/Envision to track tasks.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work any days of the week, including weekends and holidays.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Knowledge of computer systems (Word, Excel, Email).

Responsibilities

• Delegate daily tasks to Stewards and Food Leads to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of duties.
• Demonstrate a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail in all stewarding functions.
• Oversee cleanliness standards for all back‑of‑house areas, equipment, and storage spaces.
• Ensure proper labeling, handling, and usage of cleaning chemicals.
• Perform scheduling for the stewarding team, ensuring adequate coverage for all shifts and events.
• Complete payroll edits and timecard reviews accurately and on time.
• Utilize hotel systems such as HotSOS, Envision, and other property applications to manage tasks, work orders, and communication.
• Support banquet operations by understanding and executing event orders.
• Maintain inventory levels of equipment and supplies, reporting shortages or maintenance needs.
• Train, coach, and support team members to uphold hotel standards and safety procedures.
• Collaborate closely with Culinary and F&B leadership to ensure seamless service execution.

This person must have good communication with Culinary and F&B. Management skills, ability to understand and effectively execute event orders for banquet functions are also part of the daily role.
