Job summary

Team San Jose is seeking a Stewarding Manager to supervise hourly stewarding under the Executive Chef, ensuring quality and profitability standards are met.

You will schedule staff, manage pull sheets and inventory, forecast labor, and coordinate training programs to develop a proactive, safety‑focused team.

This role requires bilingual English/Spanish, strong communication, cost awareness, vendor relations, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Hospitality leadership experience in F&B at hotels or convention centers.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Experience with labor forecasting and payroll.
• Knowledge of safety, sanitation, and equipment handling.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate driving license.

Responsibilities

• Schedule stewarding staff to meet quality and profitability standards.
• Data entry of pull sheets and inventory controls.
• Forecast labor and report payroll.
• Train and orient new staff; enforce safety and sanitation requirements.
• Coordinate and organize offsite catering events.
• Develop training standards for stewarding staff.
