Job summary

Four Seasons Resort Hualalai in Hawaii seeks a Night Steward dedicated to housekeeping excellence and food-safety compliance. You will maintain kitchen cleanliness, support banquet setups, and ensure safe handling of china, glass, and silver.

The role requires US work authorization, a TB clearance, and weekend availability. Training, benefits, and a competitive hourly rate are provided at this luxury resort.

Qualifications

• Legal work authorization in United States.
• Hawaii DoH TB clearance required for food/bev roles.
• Weekend availability required.

Responsibilities

• Promote cleanliness, sanitation, and compliance with food safety regulations.
• Maintain neatness and order of kitchens, back-of-house areas, and storage.
• Clean and sanitize china, glass, and silver; operate dishwashing equipment.
• Clean ovens, kettles, mixers, and other kitchen equipment; clean drains and floors.
• Clean and sanitize all pots, pans, and kitchen utensils.
• Set up and operate the silver burnishing machine; sort and transport pieces for repair.
• Store cleaning chemicals safely and use PPE.
• Assist with inventory of china, glass, and silver.
• Support kitchen, events, and buffet setup for functions.

Night Steward

The Four Seasons Resort Hualalai is looking for a Night Steward who shares a passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do.Our Night Steward havethe opportunity to shape our guestexperience by providing exceptional knowledge of the Resort and exemplifying the Golden Rule in each interaction.Work authorizationrequired.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• The Night Stewardhelps to promote overallcleanlinesssanitation and compliance with state and local Food Safety and Food Establishments’ health regulations.

• Ensure the neatness,cleanlinessand order of all kitchens, back of the house areas, storage areas, employee dining room, Stewarding Department machinery, trash compactor room, carts and tables through constant monitoring and a vigorous cleaning schedule.

• Clean and sanitizechina, glass, and silver using the dishwashing machine; load and unload dishware and flatware from dishwashing machine and store properly.

• Properly and safely clean and sanitize all ovens, steam kettles,mixersand other kitchen equipment as well as all kitchen drains, sinks, floors, and walls; clean, dust, seep, mop, polish, scrub, wash, strip, all kitchen and pastry shop production areas and hallways.

• Clean and sanitize all pots, pans, and kitchen utensils using the correct cleaning and rinsing solutions.

• Safely set-up, clean, andutilizethe silver burnishing machine to clean, polish, sort, and transport silver following a daily or weekly schedule; place damaged or excessively worn pieces in a designated area for repair.

• Safelyutilizeand store all cleaning compounds, chemicals, and materials including soaking solutionutilizingthe correct Personal Protective Equipment.

• Assistwith handling of inventory ofChina, glass, and silver.

• Provide assistanceand support with Kitchen, Special Events, and Buffet set up for any of the Banquet and Restaurant functions.

WHAT TO BRING

• Successful candidate mustpossesslegal work authorization in United States

• Required by the Hawaii State Department of Health to obtain a Tuberculous (TB) clearance card when working in food and beverage

• High School Diploma preferred

• Ability tooperate, maintain andproperly cleandishwashingmachine, sinks, floor cleaning equipment, and silver burnishingmachine.
